Winchester Food Partnership is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.

This policy applies to anyone  that uses the Winchester Food  Partnership  website, Facebook page or signing up to our mailing  list.  By using any of these sites you’re agreeing to be bound by this policy.

Who we are

Winchester Food Partnership is a cross-sector partnership of organisations and individuals who have come together to create a health and sustainable food culture for people living and working in the Winchester District, regardless of income. 

What information we collect and how we use it

We obtain information about you when you use our website, Facebook page or sign up to our mailing list. The personal information we collect might include your name, address, email address, IP address, and information regarding what pages are accessed and when.  We will never ask for any personal sensitive data. We may ask for your postcode in order for us to ensure we are reaching the whole of Winchester district.

We may use your information to:

  • send you communications which you have requested.
  • seek your views or comments;
  • notify you of changes.

We will  never:

  • sell or rent your information to third parties
  • share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Who we share your information with

We may share your information with partners, agents or service providers to allow them to perform services on our behalf or to help us improve the services we provide to you. These partners will only act under our instruction and will not use your information for their own purposes.

How long we keep your personal information

Once we receive your data, we make every effort to try to ensure its security both on our systems and while in transit between our systems.

All staff who have access to your personal data understand the importance of keeping your information safe and secure at all times and are given training to support them in this.

Your choices

If you don’t want to receive any information we may send to you, you will always have the option to opt out. Please use any unsubscribe link or contact us at  info@winchesterfoodpartnership.org.uk

You can also ask us to delete your personal information by contacting us at info@winchesterfoodpartnership.org.uk As long as we have no other obligation to retain the information, we will then delete it for you.

We aim to act upon any email request to amend or delete personal data within 7-working days.

16 or under

We are concerned to protect the privacy of children aged 16 or under. If you are aged 16 or under‚ please get your parent/guardian’s permission beforehand whenever you provide us with personal information.
